What
does Mizar Color Recipe do for the prepress manager?
The applet, Mizar Color Recipe streamlines the
process of extracting the red components of the
reds, oranges, burgundies, etc. to a fifth (Red)
plate. A Sixth Plate (Violet), if applied, allows
for the offset printing of Vivid Blues, Deep Blues
and Violets.
In all cases all plates comprise a true color
separation derived from the source color space.
The designer's valuable time is no longer spent
improvising spot color channels.
The
output will stand out as superior in contrast
to the competition's portfolio products which
might also incorporate a (much less effective)
Bump Plate.
Bump
Plates Bearing Text and Other Vector Objects -
for any applied PMS-equivalent
color:
By
using charts regularly supplied by us or by using
a custom chart, vector objects such as text, which
must be matched to a PMS color, can easily be
produced for any
applied "PMS equivalent" MCR recipe
color. QuarkXPress and InDesign
CS specifically allow the recipe colors to print
just as vector sharp (razor sharp) as black text.
